Often misunderstood, the tiny country of Lithuania in Northern Europe has its own Playboy. With a population a little over 3 million, that’s like the city of Seattle getting its own Playboy (and it should based on all the super cute chicks I saw there on my last visit). Sadly, Lithuania’s special 3D issue is worse than the June 2010 special 3D issue of Playboy US.
Cover model Kristina Ivanova – who I gather is a Russian-born model of some kind – does not appear in 3D. None of the featured models appear in 3D and there’s no real special report on the technology. What you get is a 3D anaglyph advertisement proudly brought to you by LG electronics, promoting their line of 3D-ready LED tvs, featuring bikini-clad women unsuccessfully playing basketball indoors. The girls are good-looking, and the 3D effect is good enough, but this is Playboy and we expect to see naked women in 3D!
Playboy Lithuania, please learn from your neighbours in Poland on how to put out a great 3D issue! You can see the LG advertisement featuring the half naked 3D “basketball players” below:
