There are three ways to view stereo 3D images:
No Equipment Necessary
You don’t need fancy active shutter glasses or expensive advanced parallax screens to enjoy pictures and videos in 3D. You can use a no-tech approach that others have used for over a hundred years, using only your naked eye. You don’t need anything else.
This is the best known way of viewing 3D whereby you put on special glasses with one lens tinted blue and the other red. With this method, you can view specially processed images and videos designed for the glasses. The drawback is the unnatural colors produced by the tinting. The red/blue glasses are simple and cheap, but so is the overall 3D immersive experience.
High Tech Method
- Viewing 3D With Active-Shutter Glasses
- Viewing 3D Without Glasses Using Special Monitors
